Pear wood is a widespread cultivated and useful plant in Europe and Asia. The yellowish-reddish noble wood is not very common in the barrel-making industry, but has excellent characteristics for maturing and finishing any kind of liquors. The wood has a sweetish-fruity aroma. We recommend using these barrels without a toast, but of course we can also offer this from “Light” to “Heavy”.
