Danish oak is an “exotic” species of oak and wood used for the barrel production. These outstanding oak barrels produced enjoy an exclusive status. A moderately sweet aroma paired with structured tannins ensure extraordinary results when maturing and storing great spirits.
The wood is harvested in the South Funen area in selected Danish forests nearby the Hvidkilde Gods Castle.
Toneleria del Sur was founded by Rafael Cabello, an skilled and experienced cooper based in the Montilla Moriles área in southern Spain in 1974. Toneleria del Sur Coopers produce signature casks under the most demanding quality standards. After a rigorous selection of the wood to be used, traceability in our making and high-end finished products, we get our CASKNOLIA casks. As a result of a long term coopers´ tradition and backed-up by a skilled team of traditional coopers, these casks are real artisan products.
