We carefully check each order to ensure that it meets your expectations exactly. However, we advise you to inspect your barrels on delivery and to inform us of any problem(s) that you may observe. The physical condition of the barrels must be verified on delivery. Customers have five business days in which to report any issue with their barrels.

Additional Barrel Information: Oringally a rum barrel, the Ex-Rum Apple Cider Barrel is made from a combination of 5-10 Caribbean aged rums. These rums are from Trinidad and Barbados that are between 3-5 years old. They are produced in small distilleries from all over the Caribbean. They are then blended in Holland by E&A Scheer, a master blending company that is over 300 years old. A flavor profile described as woody, caramel, vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Then after being used for rum, these barrels aged a crisp New England Apple Cider for twelve months. Described as smooth, sweet and tart. These barrels ship gassed with a Grain Neutral Spirit holding solution to prevent spoilage.
