Maple Syrup Ex-Bourbon

Freshly emptied maple syrup barrels, originally used to age bourbon before being filled with rich maple syrup. The result is a beautifully layered barrel with deep notes of vanilla, oak, and sweet maple.
The barrels hold syrup sourced from farms throughout northern Maine, Vermont and Canada.  The aging process for syrup is usually more based on flavor progression instead of time, but it’s generally under twelve months.  Barrels ship with an additional 500 mL of high-proof neutral spirit and are purged with inert gas to prevent spoilage.  Interested in other sweet barrels? We carefully check each order to ensure that it meets your expectations exactly. However, we advise you to inspect your barrels on delivery and to inform us of any problem(s) that you may observe. The physical condition of the barrels must be verified on delivery. Customers have five business days in which to report any issue with their barrels.
